The Final Conference of the INTERREG MED project with the acronym REMEDIO and full title: "REgenerating mixed-use MED urban communities congested by traffic through Innovative low carbon mobility sOlutions", coordinated by ARPA Veneto - Regional Agency for Environment Protection in Veneto Region, took take place on the 1st and 2nd October 2019 in Treviso (Italy).
1st October 2019 - International Conference "Horizontal Condominium as a Living Lab for Urban Renewals"
On the 1st October, the entire day was be dedicated to an International Conference entitled "Horizontal Condominium as a Living Lab for Urban Renewals".
Invited speakers representing authorities, experts and social actors addressed topics and share experiences relevant with the sustainable urban mobility, and present results of the REMEDIO and other related projects in the framework of the Conference sessions:
- Participatory process as winning strategy for urban communities congested by traffic
- Assessment of urban solutions for congested roads
- Soft mobility solutions for urban renewal
The International Conference on the 1st October was organized by the Aristotle University of Thessaloniki (Greece) in collaboration with the Regional Agency for Environment Protection in Veneto Region (Italy) and the Municipality of Treviso (Italy) and was hosted by the Municipality of Treviso at Casa dei Carraresi (Via Palestro 33/35, Treviso, Italy).

2nd October 2019 - Workshop/Capacity Building event "Paving the way to new ideas: the Horizontal Condominium of West Road"
On the 2nd October, the morning was dedicated to a Capacity Building event mostly targeting at raising the awareness and interest of local actors and communities toward the Horizontal Condominium entity of the West Road. The title of the event is:
"Paving the way to new ideas: the Horizontal Condominium of West Road"
In Italian: "Facciamo strada a nuove idee: il condominio orizzontale di Strada Ovest"
The local Capacity Building event on the 2nd October was organized by the Municipality of Treviso in collaboration with the Regional Agency for Environment Protection in Veneto Region and will be hosted by the Municipality of Treviso at Casa dei Carraresi (Via Palestro 33/35, Treviso, Italy).
