1st Participatory Workshop with the involvement of various agents of the city
The workshop was attended by representatives of various departments of the Municipality of Thessaloniki, representatives of other Municipalities of the Greater Metropolitan Thessaloniki, representative of ESAMEA, representative of the Thessaloniki Traffic Department and representatives of the 4th Community of Thessaloniki, the Pedestrian Union and the Remedio Club, as well as volunteers involved in the REMEDIO program etc. The key issues discussed in the Workshop were
i. A vision for the whole axis: It was agreed that it is important the vision to enhance the multifunctional character of the axis. The key vision that has been put forward is summed up in the phrase "An Urban Functional Axis for All ...", i.e. a polymorphic Axis that meets the needs of all users.
ii. The alternative proposals for the redesign of the axis and the reallocation of the public space between the different users

The workshop was attended by practitioners and academics who have an expertise on transport and urban planning. The main issue discussed was the alternative proposals for the redesign of the axis and the reallocation of the public space between the different users.
